102 Paid Subscribers. 11 Weeks. Substack Just Called Me a Bestseller.
What actually happened, what I learned, and what’s coming next inside the GLP1 Girl Code community.
The Email
I got an email from Substack this morning.
It said I’m a Bestseller.
I sat with my protein pudding and read it twice.
Because I almost didn’t do this. I had a blog before this. A Pinterest funnel. A Squarespace site. I was doing all the “right” things and still felt like I was talking to nobody. Substack felt like a risk. One more thing I’d build and maybe abandon.
I didn’t abandon it.
Here’s Where Things Actually Stand
Transparency over highlight reel. Always.
I launched The GLP1 Girl Code on March 13th. Today is June 1st. That’s 11 weeks.
Total subscribers: 3,673
Paid subscribers: 102
102 people are paying for this every single month. While I’m still figuring it out in real time. While I’m teaching 6th grade and coaching volleyball and figuring out my own journey alongside you.
102 people said yes anyway.
That’s not nothing. That’s actually kind of everything.
What I Learned in 11 Weeks
People don’t want perfect. They want real.
The posts that landed hardest weren’t the polished ones. They were the ones where I said the thing I wasn’t sure I should say. Those are the ones that filled up my messages.
The community matters more than I expected.
I thought people were paying for posts. They’re not. They’re paying to be in the room. The chat is where the magic actually happens. The comments, the threads, the feeling that someone out there is doing this alongside you. And it’s not just women in there either. Men too. Real people, real conversations, every single day.
Showing up consistently is the whole thing.
I get new paid subscribers almost every day or every other day. Not in massive spikes. Just steady. Consistent. One at a time. That adds up faster than you think when you stop waiting for the viral moment and just keep going.
You don’t have to have it figured out to start.
I’m still on my journey. I haven’t hit my goal weight. I’m a teacher running a content business in the margins of my actual life. And somehow that’s what people connect with most.
To the People Who Believed in This Space
You did this.
You took a chance on something brand new and unproven. You showed up in the chat. You left comments that genuinely kept me going on the slower days.
I don’t take that lightly.
What’s Happening Inside Right Now
June is a tracking month. Every day in the chat we are sharing what we are eating. Not to be perfect. Not to compete. Just to stay connected and accountable together. If you’ve been on the fence, this is a good time to jump in.
The Back to Day One 30-day reset is also live inside the archives right now. The next live cohort kicks off July 1st. It’s the thing I wish had existed when I started. If you want in, don’t wait.
I’m also revamping my signature course (The GLP1 Girl Method) into Substack articles paired with the original videos I recorded right after I lost the 75 pounds. Over a year ago. You’re going to get all of it.

The Price Is Going Up. But Not Yet.
Right now it’s $3/month. It stays there until we hit 250 paid members. And that is coming fast.
If you lock in at $3/month or $36/year before we hit that milestone, that price is yours forever. It does not go up for you. Ever.
This is the lowest it will ever be.
p.s. I’m also documenting the whole Substack side of this journey over at Substack Bestiies if you want to watch that unfold in real time too. Two very different things happening at once and I’m somehow not losing my mind.
See you soon,
nyk
