I know that’s not what the independent, I’ll figure it out myself part of you wants to hear. But it’s true. The research on long term health behavior change is unambiguous on this point. Social support is one of the strongest predictors of sustained success.
Not because you’re weak. Because you’re human. And humans are wired for connection. We do harder things longer when we do them with people who see us and believe in us and show up on the hard days.
