I Made $2,662.45 in June. Here’s Every Dollar and Where It Came From.
the first Behind the Girl Code income report, and yes, we’re doing this for real
hiiii babe. okay, deep breath, because this one is different.
I’ve talked about The Invisible Phase in the journey. Turns out there’s an invisible phase in business too. The stretch where you’re posting every day, showing up every day, doing the work every day, and the bank account still looks like you’re barely trying.
That’s where I am. So instead of pretending otherwise, I’m just going to show you the number.
the total
June brought in $2,662.45. Here’s exactly where every dollar came from.
affiliate income: $1,668.04
Amazon affiliate: $10.74
TikTok Shop: $99.87
YouTube: $352.87
Substack: $530.93
affiliate income: $1,668.04
This is the biggest chunk, and it’s not one partner, it’s several stacked together. Some of it moves fast. Some of it sits and trickles in from links I posted weeks ago that people are still clicking. This is the closest thing I have to passive income right now, and it’s also the most unpredictable. One month it’s strong, one month it’s quiet, and I never fully know which one I’m getting until it lands.
amazon affiliate: $10.74
I’m including this separately because it’s genuinely almost nothing and I think that’s funny and also honest. This is what “just put your Amazon links in your bio” actually pays. Ten dollars and change. If you’ve ever been told affiliate income is easy money, this is your reality check.
TikTok Shop: $99.87
I do post on TikTok, I just don’t post TikTok Shop content anymore. Every so often my ADHD convinces me to try it again, and then I don’t. So the future may hold more, who knows. But right now this money is entirely leftover from old videos still circulating months later. It’s proof that consistent work compounds long after you’ve moved on.
YouTube: $352.87
This one’s pure AdSense. If you’re not following me over there yet, come find me. Every single view counts toward this number, more than you’d think.
Substack: $530.93
This one splits into two publications, and I want to actually break that apart instead of lumping it together.
$521.01 of it is The GLP1 Girl Code. Substack is what I care about most, because it’s what I’m actually building on purpose. Everything else on this list is stuff that happened to me. This is the thing I’m choosing, every single day, one post at a time. And that’s because of you. Genuinely, thank you for being here.
The other $9.92 came from I Turned Out Fine, my other Substack where I write about the stuff underneath a life like this one. Growing up with a parent who came first. The room that got given away. The way silence gets mistaken for not caring. It’s newer and smaller, which is why the number is what it is, but it exists and it made money in June, so it’s going in the report.
$530.93 total came from Substack. The rest, over $2,100, came from platforms I don’t control and can’t count on month to month. That’s the gap I’m trying to close. The more of you reading here, the less I’m at the mercy of an algorithm somewhere else.
the part I’m not going to dress up
My ultimate goal is $10,000 a month. Not to be rich. I just want to live comfortably and stop feeling like every month is a math problem.
I am far, far off from that number.
Right now this isn’t profit. This is keeping us afloat.
I’m not saying that for sympathy. I’m saying it because somewhere out there is a person building something of her own, looking at someone else’s highlight reel, assuming everyone but her has it figured out. She doesn’t need my highlight reel. She needs the real number.
$2,662.45. A long way from $10k. Still showing up tomorrow anyway.
boring consistency changes lives. even when the bank account hasn’t caught up to believe it yet.
one more thing before I go
happy new month, quick Elara promo announcement because I don’t want anyone to miss this.
for July, if you’re starting your GLP-1 journey for the first time, or you’re on a maintenance plan at the lowest dose, you can get a completely free one month supply of Lipo-C when you place an order for a multi-month GLP-1 starter plan. use code STARTJULY at checkout. once you’re prescribed you’ll get a follow up message with the link to claim it.
Lipo-C isn’t a GLP-1 medication and it’s not a fix for side effects, so I want to be clear about that. but it’s a solid supportive add-on. it can help with energy when your appetite drops and you’re eating less, and it supports fat metabolism and liver function while your body is adjusting. pair it with actual hydration and protein and it’s a nice extra layer of support, not a replacement for any of the real work. » Sign up here.
still figuring it out with you,

p.s. that second publication is here » I Turned out Fine, if you want a peek into why I am the way I am.
