My current go to protein is organic sliced turkey. For some reason it feels comforting and easy to digest. On whole wheat sourdough bread or just by itself. I'm sure I'm not eating enough though lol.

Ha, I read this and immediately got up to get my lunch! Perfect timing. This is something I just became aware of and need to work on. It'so very different to be in a spot that I am forcing myself to eat. A mind-F, if you will.

It's definitely a mind F!!

My go to right now is the Ka’chava protein powder - 2 scoops in 1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk, 1 cup frozen blueberries, 3 tbsp PB2 (peanut butter) powder, 7-8 ice cubes. Process through blender (I use an old vitamix).

37 gms protein is a good start to the day

I too have been struggling with hitting protein goals. They say you should eat the protein on your plate first, but it is rarely as appealing as the veggies, fruits or other sides (carbs).

My go-tos are cottage cheese and protein shakes (usually blended with espresso powder and ice for a faux “Frappuccino” experience—not that I’m fooled.)

I'm not great at it either! We got this.
