So you know I have a similar story . Did sema. Felt pretty bad and didnt lose till 3 mo in. I also wonder if lost more because I was so sick alot more then the med working. I decided to switch this past month to tirz and hoping after I move up to 5 mg I will see better results(. Weight loss and appetite suppression and food noise. ) I not feeling anything yet on 2.5 after being on a med for 4 mo that made it hard to even eat .I wonder if that is what I need for now but I also work with kids so hard to be able to manage side effects as well I was sad that I didn't ever enjoy anything anymore. I hope tirz will give me best of both worlds. I have not totally said no to going back on sema but wanna give this time bc its been nice not tofeel like I did for 3 months!!
I feel this! You literally cannot be sick at work && that changes everything about how you have to approach this. && you make such a good point, were you losing because of the med or because you were too sick to eat? that's a question more people should be asking themselves honestly. give the tirz time, 2.5 is just the starting point. keep me posted on how 5mg feels!!
I tried a compounded Sema and thought I was dying! Had very bad side effects that just prevented me from continuing. I stayed on it for about 2 months with no improvement and very little weight loss. I did nothing for a while. Trying to diet and exercise as I had in the past but that no longer worked for me. In December last year I was at my highest weight and talked with my provider about what I could do: she suggested I try Tirz. Since I didn’t want to be sick at Christmas, I started 2.5 mg on 12/26 and have stayed on that dose the entire time. I had side effects. Mostly nausea, fatigue, and chills! I quite literally freeze for about 24 hours after shot days. Which isn’t all that bad since I am a woman of a certain age! lol…I’ve been scared to increase the dose. I’ve continued to loose. Very SLOWLY. And I’m ok with that. To date I’ve lost a little over 30 pounds. I want to try to increase the dose but I really do not want the side effects. 😞
I started with semaglutide from a compound pharmacy. It was awful and I was so sick. I was able to switch to tirz for a while and felt better. My insurance changed again so I had to go back to semaglutide. It’s not horrible and if I eat the wrong things (pizza, pasta, eggs ) it’s awful and it is hard to teach between sulphur burps and anti nausea medication. I take weeks off a constipation free week. It’s ridiculous and I have lost some weight and A1C is good so I haven’t given up yet.

I lost some weight just not much to get excited about, unfortunately.
Did you see results with tirz? I switched and so far nothing. I only did bc of how I felt on sema
