The GLP-1 Girl Method: Revamped: Lesson 2
How the F Do I Read My Bottle?
About a year ago I built a course called The GLP1 Girl Method. It was designed to walk you through everything I wish I had known when I started. The real stuff, not the clinical stuff. I’m not selling it anymore. Instead I’m bringing it here, to you, one lesson at a time. Every post in this series includes the original video lesson plus my full written breakdown below it, updated with everything I’ve learned since I filmed it. This is the revamped version. And it lives here now.
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, a nurse, or any kind of medical professional. Nothing in this post or anywhere in this community is medical advice. This is me, a regular person who has been on GLP-1 medications for three years, sharing what I’ve learned, what worked for me, and what I wish someone had told me at the beginning. Always defer to your provider for anything medical. Okay. Disclaimer done. Let’s go.
I am going to be honest with you before we even start.
By the end of this lesson you might still not fully understand it. And that is okay.
This is the lesson I get the most questions about. The one that causes the most confusion. The one where I see people in comments and DMs genuinely guessing because nobody ever explained it to them clearly.
Your vial has three different numbers on it. Milligrams. Milliliters. Units. They are not the same thing. They are not interchangeable. And not knowing the difference is one of the most common mistakes people make in their first few months on this medication.
In this lesson I am going to break all three down in plain language. I am going to walk you through the math the same way I walk my sixth graders through it, because I am a teacher and ratios are literally my job. And I am going to tell you exactly what to do if you finish this lesson and are still confused, because that is a completely valid place to land.
The video is below. The full written breakdown follows. And at the end I am going to share something that genuinely scares me about how many people are still getting this wrong.
