Two Things On Sale Today That Actually Support Your GLP-1 Journey. (AMAZON PRIME DAY)
Prime Day deals on the Oura Ring 4 and the Hatch Restore 3. Both on sale through June 26th. Both sitting on my nightstand.
You are logging your food. You are hitting your protein. You are showing up for your injections every single week. And you still feel like something is missing from the picture.
Not motivation. Not discipline. Information. And the right environment to actually recover.
That is what today is about.
It is Amazon Prime Day and two things I use every single day of my life are on sale at prices I have not seen before. I am not a gadget person. I do not recommend things I do not use. These two are different. They live in my bedroom, they are part of my routine, and they have genuinely changed what my sleep looks like on a GLP-1.
Let’s talk about them.
the oura ring 4
I have worn an Oura Ring every single day for years. Mine is the Ring 3, and if you have ever seen one in person you know it has this strange uneven shape that the newer versions fixed. I have been watching the Ring 5 since it launched. But I will be honest with you: I am seriously considering just getting the 4 right now instead of waiting, and here is why.
The Ring 4 is currently up to 44% off. Some colors are starting at $215. The Ring 5 starts at $399 and Oura has explicitly said they have no plans to discount it. The Ring 4 has every single feature the Ring 5 has. Same app. Same data. Same GLP-1 Insights. The 5 is smaller and the hardware got a refresh, but the experience inside the app is identical.
For someone who already has a Ring 3 with its awkward shape, moving to a 4 at this price is not settling. It is smart.
what it actually tracks
Your sleep. Your HRV. Your resting heart rate. Your respiratory rate overnight. Your body temperature trends. Your readiness score every single morning that tells you, based on actual data, whether today is a push day or a rest day.
I have worn this ring long enough to know what my body looks like when it is recovering well and what it looks like when it is fighting something, stressed, or under-slept. That is not something I could have told you before I had continuous data. You think you know how you slept. The ring tells you what actually happened.
For anyone on a GLP-1, that matters more than people realize. Your medication is doing physiological work overnight. Your HRV shifts around your injection days. Your body temperature changes. Your recovery looks different than someone who is not on this medication, and now there is a feature built specifically for that.
the GLP-1 Insights feature
This is the part that stopped me when I first read about it.
Oura built a dedicated GLP-1 experience inside the app that is medication-aware. Meaning it does not just collect your data and hand it back to you. It understands your dose schedule and reads your biometric data through that lens.
You log your dose. You log your side effects, nausea, fatigue, appetite shifts, energy changes, right alongside your sleep and recovery data. On your injection day, a check-in card shows up in the app reminding you to log. You can track your weight inside the same view. And the AI Advisor inside the app can answer questions about side effects, plateaus, and motivation dips in a way that is personalized to your actual logged data, not just generic GLP-1 information.
The thing that got me was this: it creates a continuous record of what is happening in your body between the moments you see your care team.

the hatch restore 3
I want to show you something.
That is my actual routine. Every single night.
Meditations for a Racing Mind, 10 minutes. Then Stormy Slumber, 31 minutes of rain while I fall asleep. Then Bedside Fan, which plays until I tap it off in the morning. I did not design this routine because it sounded good. I designed it because my brain does not stop at night and I needed something that worked.
The Hatch Restore 3 is what works.
what it actually does
It is a sunrise alarm clock, a sound machine, and a light therapy device in one. The app lets you build a routine exactly like mine, stringing together sounds and meditations and light settings in whatever order your brain needs them. You can dim it, change the color of the light, set a sunrise to wake you up gradually instead of an alarm ripping you out of sleep.
I do not fall asleep with my phone anymore. That alone changed things.
The Oura Ring shows me that my sleep quality improved. The Hatch is a big part of why.
why this matters on a GLP-1
Sleep is not optional on this medication. It is not a nice-to-have. Poor sleep raises cortisol. Elevated cortisol stalls fat loss, increases cravings, and works directly against what your GLP-1 is trying to do. I have an entire guide on this inside the community.
The Hatch gives your nervous system a signal that it is time to wind down. The meditation quiets the racing thoughts. The sound covers the ambient noise that keeps your brain half-alert. The sunrise wakes you gently so your cortisol curve starts right.
This is not a luxury product. It is a recovery tool.

Both of these are on sale through June 26th only. Both live in my bedroom. Both are part of how I am taking care of my body on this journey.
The Oura Ring 4 gives you the data. The Hatch Restore gives you the environment. Together they close a loop that logging food and counting steps was never going to close for you.
